Aesthetic Journalism: renaming it?

The group feels that the title 'aesthetic journalism' is not a fitting title/term to describe the work created at the intersection of information practices, aesthetics and imagination. The two words 'Aesthetic' and 'Journalism' are rooted in heavily coded and considered disciplines and histories. However, the group was unable to find an appropriate title to replace 'Aesthetic Journalism.' Below are titles that were considered:
  • Information practices
  • Information bending
  • Art journalism
  • Reporting with art
  • Journalistic aesthetics
  • Journalistic art
  • Re-framing the real
  • Investigative art
  • Investigative practices
  • Contemporary art
  • Contemporary media artists
  • Contemporary news artists
